Who is Texas Speech Therapy?

Texas Speech Therapy is a Speech-Language Pathologist-owned, local business with over 10 years of experience working in a variety of school settings.  These settings include early intervention, elementary, intermediate, middle, and high schools.  We understand the value and responsibility of special education professionals in the school setting. In order to ensure that we supply public school districts with the highest quality services, we provide individualized mentoring and support to all of our therapists and evaluation professionals. We are committed to providing highly qualified English and Spanish-speaking Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP), Licensed Specialists in School Psychology (LSSP), Diagnosticians, and Occupational Therapists (OT). All of our Speech-Language Pathologists have a Master's Degree from an ASHA-accredited university and TX State licensure.  In addition, all of our other special education professionals hold a Master's Degree and up-to-date professional licensure as well.

  • Speech-Language Pathologists (CCC and CFY with complete supervision) for full-time and part-time school positions

  • District-wide Speech and Language Screenings and Evaluations (Includes bilingual evaluation!)

  • Comprehensive Full and Individual Evaluation Reports and Individualized Education Plans

  • Bilingual Speech, LSSP, Diagnostician, and Occupational Therapy Services (Spanish-English)

  • Early Intervention

  • Supervision of District Speech-Language Pathology Interns and Speech-Language Pathology Assistants

  • Speech and Language Strategies for Classroom Teachers and Response to Intervention Plans

  • As needed evaluation services (district-direct and IEE) by certified LSSP, Diagnostician, and occupational therapists

Public school district practice is our area of expertise and we ensure that our professionals are provided on-going support as it relates to research-based treatment and assessment as well as TEA and Federal Special Education Rules and Regulations.  Our background in public education tells us that frequency, duration, intensity, and location of related services in the educational setting should be collaborative in nature. Our related services in the public school setting are provided with educational need in mind. In the interest of generalization of skills, teacher/peer education, and least restrictive environment, a collaborative model will always be implemented by our professionals in the school setting. We especially value classroom-based services when appropriate!
