Our Occupational Therapists:
Our Occupational Therapists (OTs) are experts in the areas of self-help skills (dressing, brushing, feeding), hand-eye coordination, fine motor skills, handwriting legibility / cutting, focus and attention, and sensory integration.
Our OTs also regularly review progress reports, evaluate care plans, review achievement of individual goals, and review achievement of long-term objectives. Our OTs generate written reports that contain self-help ability, coordination, fine motor, attention, and sensory need highlights and recommendations for staff, fellow therapists, caregivers and other team members. They continually collaborate with the team regarding each child's progress, struggles and achievements.
Our OTs strive to continuously improve services through integrating new techniques, seeking professional development and supporting evidence-based practices.
